Hello! My name is Elana Rose Lapetina and I am a senior at East Carolina University. I am pursuing a Bachelor in Fine Arts with a concentration in Musical Theatre. I am also minoring in Natural Composite Science (Pre-Med program). One important and interesting fact about me is that was I born with only one ear. Throughout my childhood, I have endured five ear reconstruction surgeries. Currently, I have a bone-anchored hearing aid (BAHA) to help me perceive sound through temporal lobe vibration. Through musical and artistic expression, I am able to spread inspiration and awareness towards the deaf and hearing impaired community.
